Jason, founder of PTE Coaching is a seasoned coach with over 25 years of experience in the field. His coaching credentials include an FA UEFA B in goalkeeping and outfield, as well as a youth award module 3. Jason's passion lies in learning and finding the most effective ways to apply that knowledge, ensuring holistic development for all involved.

Jason is also accredited in emotional intelligence, which has enhanced his understanding of social and self-awareness, allowing him to create optimal learning environments for young athletes.

Outside of coaching, Jason is happily married to Carly, whom he credits as the real boss and a constant pillar of support throughout his journey. Together, they are proud parents to two wonderful sons, Josh and Alfie, both actively engaged in their pursuits and are trusted coaches here at PTE Coaching.

Jason brings a wealth of experience from his own playing days as a professional cricketer and a goalkeeper at step 4/5 levels. His two-year tenure as the manager of Racing Club Warwick in step 5 football has provided him with a well-rounded perspective, making him a valuable mentor to guide young athletes towards their next steps in sports.

Josh, a Level 2 coach with a passion for developing talent, brings plenty of experience and expertise to PTE. He's spent the last two years managing a team at Sky Blues in the Community.

His dedication and strategic acumen were further showcased during his time as Jason's assistant manager at Coventry Alvis, where he contributed to the team's success, culminating in a memorable final at the Ricoh Arena, he was just 18 at the time.

Josh's evolution as a coach has been remarkable, evident in his current role as part of the management team at Coventry City Elite Academy under 12’s. Here, he immerses himself in learning from professional coaches, refining his coaching philosophy and techniques to nurture young talent effectively.

Josh also takes charge as the manager at Pro Direct for the Daventry site, 

his dedication to continuous improvement, Josh stands as a testament to the impact a dedicated coach can have on both players and teams, embodying the spirit of development and excellence in football.

Alf, with his FA Level 2 certification, boasts an impressive football journey. Alfie played in the MJPL and remarkably debuted in men's football at just 16 with Alvis in the Midland Football League Step 7, later advancing to Step 5. Along the way, he's showcased his skills with several local clubs, demonstrating his skills and ability on the pitch.

Beyond playing, Alfie has also delved into coaching, contributing his expertise to PTE coaching for the past three years. His coaching style has earned him respect from players, highlighting his ability to not only excel on the field but also to impart valuable knowledge and guidance to aspiring athletes.

Currently, Alfie continues to hone his craft as a player with Sphinx in the Midland Floodlit Premier League, maintaining a strong presence in both playing and coaching realms within the football community.

Steve is a seasoned football professional with a wealth of experience, I have had the pleasure of knowing Steve for over 20 years, collaborating with him on numerous occasions within the football community. Holding a UEFA B coaching license, Steve brings a high level of expertise to the field, particularly in his work with teams like Sky Blues in the community.

His dedication to mentoring young coaches is unmatched, as he imparts not just technical knowledge but also instils crucial values and insights gained through years of hands-on experience. Steve's influence goes beyond the game, shaping young minds for success on and off the pitch. Tom is a multifaceted sports enthusiast with a diverse background in football. Holding his FA Level 1 certification and a qualification as a referee, Tom brings both on-field expertise and officiating skills to the game. His journey in football took him to Leicester Academy, where he honed his skills as a young player under top-tier training. Tom showcased his talents as a goalkeeper in renowned leagues such as MJPL (Midland Junior Premier League) and JPL (Junior Premier League), where he thrived under pressure and demonstrated exceptional athletic prowess.

Jake is a homegrown talent at Racing Club Warwick, embodying the spirit of dedication and passion on the field. Jake has established himself as a promising young player, showcasing his skills in the Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL), he has been coached by Jason in the academy for 3 years and due to his effort and communication in that time he was asked to help out with some coaching

Next year Jake plans to start his journey by getting his coaching qualifications. This approach reflects Jake's ambition to not only excel on the field but also contribute to the sport through insightful analysis and mentorship.

Ben is a rising talent in the football world, having honed his skills as a goalkeeper in the MJPL before making a remarkable leap to Step 7 at just 16 years old, where he played for Alcester in the Midlands Football League Division Two. Known for his agility and quick reflexes, Ben's stellar performances caught the attention of coaches and scouts alike.

Now, with aspirations to further his studies and continue excelling in football, Ben is eyeing a journey to America. His blend of academic ambition and sporting prowess makes him an ideal addition to any coaching staff, bringing not just skill but also a hunger to learn and grow in every aspect of the game. Asking Ben to help with some coaching at PTE was an easy decision for head coach Jason.​
